In Words & Hearts two families move into a remote village in Africa; one American family and one South African family, both with young children. Their goal is to share the good news of Jesus with this unreached people group.
But these people were unreached for a reason. They did not have a Bible in their language, and neither could they read or write. Words & Hearts documents the long journey the missionaries began as they learnt to communicate with the villagers and translate God’s word into their language.
Words & Hearts is a powerful story of transformation, as the time finally came when the missionaries taught these precious people God’s story of salvation. After whole generations of living in darkness, many became believers. This film includes interviews with the missionary families and locals from the village. Each echo the power of God’s word to touch the depths of the human heart. The transformation continues today.
