Learning a new language and culture can seem impossible. Especially when no one in the language group can speak your language to explain things to you. In episode 20 of Lessons from the Field, we speak to Rick Oickle. He learnt the language of a people group in West Africa. At the time, he questioned whether it was actually possible. He tells us two important commitments we need to make. We asked Rick the question:
