About this course

Series: Stand-alone courses

Bible translator Stephen Crockett teaches this short 4-part course on the steps it takes to see a translation happen. Filmed among the people group Stephen is currently translating the Bible for, this course provides an on-the-ground look at the work of accurately and carefully transferring God's Word into another language. The 4th lesson primarily focuses on the most difficult stage of translation, the exegesis stage. Follow along with Stephen as he gives examples of the language he works with to explain how he produces an exegetical draft.
