Part 2: Narrative Hermeneutics and Exegesis

with Scot Keen | Running time: 00:38:38 min

In the second video in our four-part series on Narrative Hermeneutics, Bible Teacher and Pastor Scot Keen explains how a text fits into its larger Biblical book and how that book in turn fits into the Bible as a whole. The arrangement of stories is important for a correct understanding of the larger narrative. Any book reader could tell you this; details are framed by the larger story, the plot line is developed by the series of events. However, as Christians, we often see the Bible as a collection of disjointed stories and themes, divorcing us from the big picture of the Bible.
